It's taken around 8 years but the front page has just clocked up 300,000 hits on the hit counter. That's quite a significant number when you think about it.
Let's hope a fair few of them are from real users and not just spambots and web crawlers etc!
Let's see if we can get to the cool half million before all the Zzap fans start getting too old and losing all memory of Zzap!
Thanks to Ockhams Razor for bringing this event to my attention.

Isn't it great?
Shame, although unavoidable, that we're losing the vibe altogether, eh?
Still, Zzap!64, an unforgettable fire.
(starts flicking through his U2 albums...)
Credits to Newsfield, and Iain & Mort, and all you wacky readers still 'around'!

Once again I emerge from beneath a massive pile of paper which makes my desk groan to bring you the world’s most amazing posts.
Well the forum is quieter the past few months but the site (ex forum) is still getting as much traffic as before, if not more.
It was also brought to my attention that the site was mentioned in the aution part of Retro Gamer (at last!!) last month.
Kinda ironic that when I stop getting the magazine (just too much Japan / Nintendo / 90's stuff for more liking these days) they mention the site!!
