Issue 27 Reviews

Post by Fiery Phoenix »

Just going through a few issues of duplicate's, ready to throw out ( see Buy & Sell )

Wizball - great game and review. Should'nt this be a GM? Seem's a very high scoring Sizzler at 96%

Although I can' remember the cut off for GM's - surley some have obtained a GM at this percentage?

You are right - some games got Gold Medals at 96%.

Check out the Def Guide to Shoot 'Em Ups in issue 43 where Paul and Gordon discuss this

Wizball was and is a great game. Certainly should have been a Gold medal and got a higher overall rating to boot. I replayed it again for a good few hours last year and it's a rare occasion when any game new or old holds my attention for that long these days.

And it seems others agree with me :) since it now has a ZzapBack rating of 97%

Only 3 years later and everyone forgot about the article in the DEF tribute to Zzap eh? Tshh.
Final words of Penn about the matter for example.

Oh wait, here it is.

Cheers folks.

I'd forgotten I'd written a comment for that Zzapback! At least I'm consistent with my views! :)
