Bang magazine by Specialist Retail Press. Just read about this in a letter in the Rrap Issue 20. They were accusing Julian of being a software pirate. Would be very interesting to see the original article.
I can't find any info or scans of the magazine via Google.
Don't suppose you've scanned this Mort?

Em, seems he did have some issues, but no sign of them in the Zzuperstore. Are they available as a freebie on another disk Mort?

In the same issue, Lloyd also mentioned that Zzap! was going to be called "Bang". I had thought that this was a bit of a myth / misunderstanding.

Found the offending article.
Bang Issue 5 Page 4
Seems a bit silly. If Julian was pirating those review copies, he'd hardy put his name on the things!

Ka-bang!64 would have been sort of snappy sounding, wouldn't it?Iain wrote: In the same issue, Lloyd also mentioned that Zzap! was going to be called "Bang". I had thought that this was a bit of a myth / misunderstanding.

IIRC Roger/Lloyd said something about the name of the mag in the editorial and the footers of the DEF Tribute. I'll check it out later.
Once again I emerge from beneath a massive pile of paper which makes my desk groan to bring you the world’s most amazing posts.
