I could shatter the myth... I bumped into a hologram of GH a few years ago (it can't have actually been him, it was outdoors and in public), and that version of GH could almost have been described as svelte...
They Were Our Gods - a website charting my progress on an upcoming book of the same name, about the UK gaming scene in the 1980s.

So he does exist? It's hard to know these days if any of the Newsfield staff were actually real people!

I just want to clarify something. I am NOT against the project, I think it's important to get the British perspective on gaming recognised and how important Brits were to the ndustry's growth. But I'm not going to invest in just a digital copy, and the DVD level is out of my range.

I would be interested in this documentary. i dont know what marketable appeal it would have and it would probably need to be a work of passion. quickly reading through i noticed it talks about honest unbiased reviews making or breaking a game. i hope the documentary is a little more honest as the later thalamus games got insane reviews based on the fact thalamus was part owned by zzapp. I was very young when i used to subscribe to crash and zzap and at the time things such as this would of been aloof to me. buying quedex perhaps should of made me realise something was amiss. lol
Anyway i would prefer a very knowledgeable 3rd party make the documentary as you can make sure of artistic integrity. in a documentary like this this will be the most important thing for any potential buyer i.e. a network like the bbc or scifi or whoever.
i, for one, hope this gets off the ground. Also make sure mathew smith is onboard.
